Benefits of Fresh Air
I was working with my group of 6 people today at Marble Mountain. It was a mentally exhausting day. Getting outdoors during break times really assisted in refreshing my brain function. I was looking forward to a long walk in the sunshine later today. The sun hasn't really shown itself for over a week here in Kippens. So when I arrived home my garden looked sorrowfully neglected. I had a walk in my garden instead. Pulling weeds, staking drooping delphiniums, deadheading the petunias and brushing the debris off the path was much needed. Just that brief gardening ritual started to rejuvenate me. Never underestimate the power of fresh air. It grounds you to a means of healthy living.

I've managed to injure my nasturtiums. The easiest plant to grow from seed and yet my green thumb ecapes me.My only hope is that I can blame the ever present rain this month. However, given my track record with plant casualties, hope is fading.
